When Bad Things Happen to Good Developers and Entrepreneurs

This is an unfortunate fact of life and business. Suddenly I get a nasty email from someone. Sometimes they are written about one point. Sometimes it is accompanied by a request for reimbursement. Sometimes do not seem somehow related.

Or find someone who writes things for you “evil” in a blog or forum. Or maybe start a few other negative things suddenly tweeted Facebook or written about you, your products or your company.

Stuff happens. As a business owner and entrepreneur, the most successful in an increasingly open to criticism, negative feedback, or just attack.

As a person who is both a writer and a businessman, I know that everything happens when it is not welcome criticism. (I write fiction, so I had to do with my share of negative feedback.) But if something new for you, or even if it is not new, but it feels like just sucker punched something blue, I thought some parts of the data to help me do it.

1. Knowing that you’re not alone. We were there. And I mean that exactly. No matter how small or large your company, what would happen this way. To know that no matter what happened, there are a number of businessmen and entrepreneurs are in tune with both, and stress.

2. You see, what it is. All criticisms are not created equal. Sometimes what someone says there is absolutely nothing to do with you, but to deal with their problems. Sometimes they have a legitimate complaint, but man is unhappy with his life completely Blowing country because they want to clear only to someone and you’re the one they choose.

And sometimes they have a legitimate beef, but she treats them well, but you have not heard directly. Examples are some of the criticisms which have some of my stories. People are absolutely beautiful and correct. And I hated them. (Since I do for me, and climbed back into the keypad to change.)

Now the third option does not happen very often (unless you’re a science fiction writer) will do, but the first two. It is just what it is. If there is something buried in the anger and the caller name, you can use to use the products, services or companies to improve by all means. But, you know, the rest has nothing to do with you, but to do with them.

(And you know when the criticism is correct. Trust me. You say you’re right.)

3. Be gentle with yourself. If these things can happen, it will hurt. And that’s fine. Invite a friend. Or better yet, your mother (if possible). Write about it in his diary. Walk. Do not bury your feelings, not to feel bad and then let her go. Do not say irrelevant, and deal with it. Pull it from you. And then let him go.
